These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Submission ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App is intended for consenting adults who use it in a private relationship context. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws in your location.
2. The service
Submission provides tools for tracking tasks, rewards, punishments, bonus activities, points, and partner-linked shared data. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.
3. Accounts and partner linking
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- When you link with a partner, certain data is shared between linked accounts as designed by the App.
- Only link with someone you trust and with whom you have agreed to share this information.
4. Your content
You may submit text, task details, photos, feedback, and other content through the App ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the App.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, non-consensual, or that violates the rights of others.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for harassment, abuse, or any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its security
- Reverse engineer or scrape the App except where permitted by law
- Use the App in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties
6. No professional advice
The App is for personal organizational and recreational use only. It does not provide legal, medical, psychological, or relationship counseling advice.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
